* Want the world’s most expensive cell phone? It will take only $7.8 million to buy the Stuart Hughes iPhone 4 Diamond Rose, which is covered with about 500 diamonds totaling over 100 carats. The back is made out of rose gold, and the phone logo is formed using 53 diamonds.

* The Nokia 1100 is the world’s most popular phone, with over 250 million units sold worldwide since the device’s introduction in 2003. Coincidentally, Nokia didn;t always make phones. It was founded in 1865 as a paper manufacturer before switching years later to rubber products, telegraph wires and electrical cables. It’s first phone appeared in the 1980s.
